A US Navy assault boat coxswain turned fisherman, Captain Joe first chartered a naval special services boat in California. He fished the Coronado Islands off of San Diego for yellow finned tuna, rock cod, ling cod and bottom fish. That was a 6 month temporary assignment he wished would never end.

    After completing his 4 years with the Navy, Captain Joe moved to South Florida, where he worked commercial fishing and diving boats. There he fished for a variety of different species.

    After returning to Wisconsin, he began fishing the Great Lakes with exclusive tours for the last 12 years on Lake Michigan. Captain Joe is a U.S. Coast Guard  - licensed captain.  He (along with his first mate) is a member of the Wisconsin Salmon Unlimited Club of Racine. 

    Captain Joe will work hard to provide you with a quality fishing experience. He enjoys fishing and hopes you will join him for a great day of fun and adventure.       First Mate - Shawne,  really enjoys the excitement of catching fish. So Capt. Joe began showing her the netting of the fish, using the down riggers and setting lines and changing lures.  Shawne rounds off the Get Reel II crew in fine fashion.  You will soon realize why Captain Joe relies on her to make your trip an adventure.
